View Full Version : exhaust flange
Ok i went to take my header off. so i got the 1 flange off (its a 400ex) and the other wont come off and im prying and it wont come off i dont want to break it or anything. any help is appreciated.

Hit it with a hammer... You can probably knock it loose.
we tryed that but not very hard cause i dopnt want to damage my head

Use brass it won't damage the head.

this happend to me. what i did was just a long peice of wood, place it at the bend of the header and tap it. f you keep tapping it the flange will slowy but surely come out.
well i just got doen with the block of wood and its right on the edge of comin off but wont
Well got it off and put my TC on yesterday. The jetting seems to be dead on i just have to richen it up a lil bit so should i just turn the fule screw in a lil bit.

Fuel screw will only noticably affect your richness at idle. If you need it richer at full throttle.. go up 1 main jet size.
