Hay Days in MN

I finally got to see some freestyle in person today at Hay Days in Forest Lake, MN. Some of the Akraix and Bombsquad was there, but I didn't recognize anyone. I heard that Jon had something going on in California at the time, would've been nice to see the backflip in person. I did however get to see a snowmobile backflip (I don't get out to shows much as you can tell), which was pretty damn sweet. A friend of mine was taking some pics with his disposable because I forgot about the FX show so I didn't bring my video camera. Does anyone know of someone that rides an Orange 450R with Akraix graphics?? He was busting out the sickest tricks of them all today.

I went out to hay days last year. disapointed I missed it this year. some of thoes snomobiles are pretty damn fast. I acutally have 2 in my yard that could kinda compete. well they could compete like 2 years ago.

when I went out thare thare wasent to much for fourwheeler or snombile jumping. their was sawdust jumps and stuff. but I never saw anything going on.

Last year they had the dirtbikes and snowmobiles doing freestyle, but this is the first year they've had quads.

I want to know who was riding the orange 450R, he was doing pretty damn good out there. I'd like to see some more vids/pics of him freestyling.

I'm so glad I got a chance to go out there and check out the show, it was truely amazing. What is the trick called when they are straight up and down and then they like shove the front end down with their head?? It looks f'in SICK in person:eek2: .

that is called a stunami if he tucks his head and looks behind him, if he looks forward it is a kissof death.

I actually got Derek throwing the Cliffhanger at pretty much full extension, It is so crazy when he leaves the pegs and floats up to the handlebars

Yea, I was mad i couldnt go this year. I went last year, and it was preaty tits.... There wasnt any quad freestyle, but i liked watchin the grass drags. and i coulda picked up a sweet 250r for 2000...... totally pimped... but i didnt have enuf cash on me.... GRRRRR

This year there was a completely modded out 250R going for 7 grand. It was definately worth it, only thing stock on it was the steering stem.

I just picked up a guys lonestar 250r from the U.P. that races quad series here in WI... I got it for a good deal. Only thing stock is thumb throttle and case halves. lol sure beats my old R.... haha
only thign it doesnt have is a powervalve..... wich i have on the shelf. :devil: come this winter, thats gettin put on.:macho
