how come its not selling??? help

i have been tryin to sell the 440 for the last month or so. the bike is extremly clean, i just rebuilt the whole bike from the ground up. its basically like new. it has a fresh motor and i repainted the frame and everything. it has lots of mods like

works triples with rezzies
440 big bore motor
hot cam
yoshi full exhaust
LSR stem
renthals
new tires (klaws)
new graphics
nerfs
Edelbrock carb
UNI filter
PEP stabilizer

and thats not even half the parts on it it has over $7K invested in it and i still cant sell it, im only askin $3000. any advise on how to sell it? i need the cash asap

modded atv's dot mean you willk get more money. I wouldnt ever buy a atv with a modded engine

its not selling because your asking too much.. lower the price to 2200 and you might sell it, but dont hold your breath.

Sure he'll sell it @ $2200. Ive got mine up for sale locally and have a guy interested in buying it for 3,000. LOL. Would I ever make out good if I got it for 500 more than what I paid in the spring for it.
Seems to me on the internet, the value dropped big time, but around here (NE PA) the value seems to be doing ok.
Thats one big reason I dont think I will put it for sale on here. I can do much better locally, and may get 700-1000 less for it if I sell it on here.

You'll easily get more than 2200 for your quad. You could part it out for much more.

Check your local classified ads, price will vary by location. I was at the local Yamaha/Suzuki dealer today to get oil and they had what looked like a stock, other than DG nerfs, 400ex for $3700. I didn't look at closely tough.

I think what is hurting you is that it's a 2000, five years can be a long time for an ATV, especially if it's a 'built' atv. The general public is afraid of that.

Put it out front or somewhere with a forsale sign imo, quit messing around with the internet unless its say ebay or something..

Put it on the street corner nice and clean. Put up a sign that has big letters and says REAL FAST, mention that it is bored and someone will buy it. Jack up the price too...... Idiot's around here if you mention the word bore they drool, even if it was bored out just to get the insides clean+smooth. LoL:devil:
