need help downloading songs onto Ipod

we have a cheapy ipos (sandisk) but anyway I have been trying to put songs I have downloaded from Limerwire onto it. I plugged in the little USB cable and tried to follow the instructions that come with the Ipod but it was not successful. Anyone know what to do?

so you are having trouble getting the songs from limewire to the ipod?
Once the song is done d/l,go to where it says explore,hit that,then you have your songs,then go to a song,right click,send to,my documents,then go to the ipod menu,and click add file,then go to my documents then just add it from there

alright man I got it like 90% there, but now the ipod isnt accpeting them. It flashes and says "connecting" then shows a progress bar and it never moves :confused:

Do you have an actual Ipod or some other type - you mention sandisk???

im not sure what to call it lol. I hate doing it like this, but its small, rectangular, blue and is supposed to record music... and doesnt

You do NOT have an iPod.

You would get better help if you actually knew what you had.

no because that still does not state WHO made it.

What do you mean it isnt an iPod shuffle maybe??? Do you have what you posted as a picture or not?!?
