Any one have one of these cars? Its a coupe RWD with the mustang turbo svo motor. I am picking one up this week and am going to gut it and build an in expensive play car. I only paid 300 for the sucker its becuase a guy was selling it for 1500 and it ran great and then his son took it out and bent a valve so i found a head for it for 200 bucks. SO any one have one of these or know where to find info on them?

Yeah, I saw one once.... it was a peice of junk. The exhaust was hanging on by a peice of bailing wire... lol.

I have a 2005 GMC Canyon well i think thats going so i can get something better. But im buying this so i can learn to drift before I go spending 30g on what i really want.

its a merkur, and its basically a euro escort, but it has a 2.3 liter turbo motor in them.. ive seen one make 570 hp at the wheels before throwing a rod through the block on a dyno a few years back in carsile pa for spring ford.

Merkurs are pretty cool cars, There is one around here for sale for $6000. it has a custom body kit on it. they were great race cars over in europe. i would like to find one and fix it up just because they are different,
different is good.
you should seriously restore the beauty they are pretty rare.

Yea is know its Mercur i corrected it but it wont change it
