Hello there, I thought I would post a picture of my two pet Lepard Geckos. There names are Tootsie and Peewee ,peewee is the smaller one, and Tootsie is of course the tootsie roll one.. hehe:p ( you cant ell from the pic, but its the one on the left)

The Geckos are very nice, they are about 4 and a half years old.
the bigger one we havent had that long, it is my brothers, he had one for 3 years but it had Cancer and we let it go free in our yard :( he was very sad and missed having a lizzard, so mom and dad got him another one a few months ago. They eat meal worms, crickets and wax worms. I have them trained to eat and drink out of my hand sometimes! They will also kiss me sometimes :blah: :D

It took am awhile to grow to like Lizzards :scary: but I was pretty torn up when my lil mans Lizzard Got Cancer, the kids were pretty attached to them so it made me sad :( They are pretty cool to watch and they are so easy to care for. I Have Asthma so I cant have Cats or Dogs, so we compomized on lizzards, it works out good cause we can water and feed an d if we need to take off for the wk end they are fine. They dont bark, no pee and poop on my carpets and they dont shed! Life is good ! :p I wish we could have a Dog though, I would love a boxer myself.

Im sad to say ... PeeWee passed away last night.

LILQJ was pretty upset about it .:( She has had him for 6 years now . PeeWee has been sick for several months now(we think it was Cancer) she has had to feed it by hand and take extra TLC to keep her eating.She went to pick it up to feed it and thought it was alsleep,but it was already gone.


Its amazing how attached a pet gets and how much they become part of the family.

In time Sis... We will get another companion for the other one ,when your ready ;)

Hey can anyone tell me if it is possible to breed like a Chiwawa(sp?) and a bulldog. Bcuz i want to have a tiny bull dog. i think it would be cool as hell.

I seen some small bulldogs(full grown though) at the fair acouple years ago, but i cant remember what they were breeded with to make them like that. anyone have any ideas?

i had a ball python for 11 years. i have pics around somewhere of him. i used him to flirt with my wife when i first met her.

I had to put him to sleep about 2 1/2 years ago. he started getting mean. for 11 years i was able to do whatever i wanted with him. then in the last few months, if he was out of his hide box and you even waled near the cage, he would strike. not sure why, although he had tried to escape and damaged his eye pretty bad. that might have had something to do with it. anyway, he was put down and is buried in my parents yard.

since we had a 3 yr old at the time, we decided not to get another snake for a few years. she is now 5 and i think that time is coming again.

reptiles are great pets, like QJ said. No smell, no noise, don't need a lot of food, or fed every day. althought he live mice bothered my mother when i lived with them...

Lepoard Gecko (Nan). She's about to have her 13th birthday.

African Firebelly Toad (Hop). 9yrs old.
2 Oriental Firebelly Toads (Bubba & Paddles). Both 5yrs old.
American Standard Cat White with a couple black spots. (Angle) She's 3yrs old.

My parent's have my dog, I live in an apartment and not home enough to let her out. Mutt mix (Muffin) She's almost 18.

PS - No I didnt name either the dog or the cat.

I also have some fish in the aquatic side of the 55 gallon tank where the frogs live. (50/50 aquatic/terestrial).

Kelsey can feed them out of her hand, they kiss her nose:) , you can tell when they shed there skin when they are in a pizzy mood,each one had its own personality..they are pretty easy to care for. Meal worms, crickets,water...thats it .. no barking,no potting training,we can go away for a few days and dont need a sitter....but dogs are cool no doubt about it .
If we was to get a bigger dog(and thats a BIG if) I would want it to have plenty of running space,not a kennel in my yard,I think thats cruel to do to a big dog, they need running space,we dont have that here .

Hos long can a Gecko live anyhow? Both ours lived for approx 7-8 years, they was small when we got them.

we also had 2 iguanas. one was nice and friendly, the other was not. we tried splitting them for a while to tame the one...it backfired adn the nice one became mean until we re-introduced them.

i wish i could have hand fed the snake, that would have been cool to do. one time he struck at a mouse as i was placing it in his cage...i admit i became to lax about what i was doing...he nailed my hand...it didn't really hurt, just surprised the hell out of me. that was the only time he bit me in the whole 11 years that i had him until the very end. he againstruck me when i was feeding him, but his demeanor had already started changing...
