There sure has been a lot of hype over the new Suzuki 450. Hopefully, it's not just all hype, and there's some truth to it. ATV Sport had a small article that said EFI, long-travel suspension, and MX width a-arms/axle from the factory weren't out of the question. I know it's just rumors right now, but ATV Sport won't normally print just any BS. If what they say mostly true, there's a very good chance I'll be riding yellow this winter.:D

So you buy a honda 450r for $6000 and then put $4000 into and say bye bye to the suzuki!

I guess an exhaust for $900 is gold plated. All I am saying is you can get alot for $4000. The motors don't really need alot of work because they are pretty quick with a pipe, cam and piston. Soon we will all find out what this thing is going to have instead of hear say.

You can get a good exhaust for about $500. Sparks HMF Rossier CHM! I guess its all preference. But you are correct I haven't looked at up white brothers in a while I use to run the E-series on my 400ex!

how many times does someone have to explain this to yall. long travel doenst cost that much more to manufacture than regular supension, at the most it will be 1000 more to make it long travel all around ( i think it probably really closer to 500 ) the exhaust is the same way, they said a trick exhaust so you can have the coolest exhaust in the world and still make it out of aluminum (which is actualy cheaper in japan than stell is ) i estimate that if this bike is truely race ready itll cost 8000 to 9000 max

it will cost alot more, but think about it, how much more meterial and time would it take to make long travel vs standard a-arms. the reason everyone thinks this quad is gunna cost so much is cause 1 aftermarket parts are extremly over priced 2 they are baseing it off of what a race ready quad that they built would cost ( suzuki isnt going to build a 450z with reg arms suspension and exhaust, then go buy elkas and roll a-arms with a wb exhaust)

that was their first magazine ever, so how do you know if they print a lot of bs or not?

and id take a 450r over a ltz450 just because of how i ride, but if i was serious into mx i would reconsider. and btw, dont forget nothing at all is confirmed.

id say its gonna be over 10g's as well, and id rather have a 450r with at least 4g's into it than a stock susuckie
