I have a lead on a guy that wants to sell me his used 30mm Trenga Carb for my Blaster. He claims it has 3 tanks of gas run thru it and will jet it to my altitude and ship it for $150. New from Trenga is $170. What do you guys think?

Id say no. You can get the OKO 30mm carbs (which are like the same thing) on eBay for like 100 brand new

I'd say if you can get a new for only 20 bucks more you'd be better off geting new. Also jetting is a trial and error issue, so if he jets it wrong you've still got to buy the jets and rejet it yourself so you've only saved 20 bucks and you've got a used carb.

Yeah, I ended up picking up a new one from Trenga and it should be here this week. Hopefully this thing should add some boost.

I wouldn't outright say screwed. I've made some purchases off ebay before, and they add nothing for technical help, and they arent always the fastest shippers either.
