I have a 400ex and +2 a-arms. I'm getting my suspension now so I can put them and my a-arms on. But I'm wondering if I should get 450r shocks and them had derisi racing revalve and triple rate them. Or just buy elka recs with no resevoir. I don't have the money for the resevoir, but I do have the money now to get the r shocks and then at christmas get them redone by derisi. Anybody know which would be beter, and derisi guarantees his stuff to be exactly what you want. but I"m just worried about them not being made for the ex, but with all the work he does it sholdn't matter right? they'll still be as bad as top name shocks?? plus they're fully adjustable and elka recs aren't.

I would go with the R shocks revalved by derisi. Tripple rate zps, compression rebound and preload adj.
