next project

i think this will be my next project, a yz426 or 450 big wheel. i think it would be a way cool ride around the bowls at the dunes, i know im a little goofy.

First of all thumbs up for thinking a little different. Second, good luck. The rear wouldn't be horrible to do with some good fab skills but if you want inverts on the front with a big wheel you're going to "fork" out the dough on custome triple clamps. There's plently of hubs to choose from out there for the front but the rear will be interesting. The place to call on this project would be missle engineering. They used to make the 2 wheel convertions for trikes.

Oh ya, high power engines handle like crap when you big wheel them but sounds like it could be fun.

get a honda Fat cat and put a CR500 motor in it....or a ATC250R and put a Honda fatcat swing arm on it...its been done b4
