nickel plating

Does nickel plating look as shiny as chrome?
Does nickel hold up better than the chrome on a-arms?
If someone has a pic of nickel plated a-arms please post it.

My 450r has nickel plated arms and my 416 has triple chrome both had the same ride time in the same area on them and the chrome is a bit shinnier, but when clean and they aren't side by side the nickel does look good. That picture is right after a friend and I crashed, he was going the wrong way on the track :(
