This new 250ex is awesome! Wonder how that "SportClutch" works? Sounds kinda like the Rekluse to me besides this being shaft-driven. I might have to get me one again to play around on.:D Miss the 'ole 250 anyways...:devil:

It is basically a rekluse, only in a factory version. I am sure there is less adjustment to it but still the same concept.

its hondas new thing

you use the clutch lever when you shift, just like a real clutch, but there is a secondary clutch to prevent stalling, for newer riders just learning

IMO the "new" 250ex will be slower and a little underpowered compared to the old 250ex because the old 250ex weighed 349 pounds dry and the new 250's weigh 360 pounds!!! yea i love the fact that the new 250ex has a clutch but it wont win any drag races because its quite a bit heavier. I just hope the clutch and the new shocks would fit on the older 250ex's screw the plastics and the better and more heavier headlight! and if you think about it the new 250R<<<lol wont look as good with modifications than the older ones.

So what exactly did Honda do to shave off 80lbs.? Or did you just have a typo, and mean to say that the new is actually heavier, even though you typed the new one is 80 lbs. less than the old one?

11 lbs wont make that much of a difference for a rider on a 250ex, now if your tim farr, yes it would.

Try something different! Now there are 3 QUADS out there that look identical! Thats just STUPID:mad: Its already bad enough all the cars on the road look the same now all the quads are going to be the same way!

We all know what that means too. Theres going to be a stupid kid out there that goes out and beats a 250ex, then flashes all over the forumn he just rocked a 450R!

I think the 250ex looks 10 times better than it did, even if it does look like the 450. The new clutch system is an awesome upgrade. It doesnt matter if its just 250ex, as long as the owner is having fun on it!
