See the enigne is totally different in the pic, the site glass for the oil is in a different location,Whats the brown round thing above the swingarm bolt?

The brown ring is the shock rezzy.

Any guesses as to the pwer output? Will the stock cam be a major limiting factor on the power? The HRC cam should REALLY wake this thing up!

Nope! I like EVERYTHING that they have done with the new bike, except that new nose! Yuck! The monobrow/cyclops/Leela on Futurama look sucks. Give me the lights off the old model, and I'd be a happi(er) camper.. ;)

Seems to me that when the 450r came out in 04 everyone hated the front end looks>Funny how it has grown onto people and now they like it alot:p


I really like the 06 upgrades Would like to hear some riding reviews>

I do. It's no fun riding around the local dunes in the dark with no lights.

Besides, it's just one of those things that makes the local popo come over to you in the parking lot and "give you the talk". Not to mention the possibility of a courtesy sound check while they are there.. And who wants that hassle! LOL! :D

Makes me wish that I the motor would of held up a couple more weeks on my 04. Could of used that money to upgrade to the o6.

I really like what Honda did with the 450R. I bet they sell alot more of them. I'd still be riding Honda if this was around at the time...........;)

HONDA made a near perfect quad only better with the improvements for this year.


i only worry about the bottom end being shorter. Gearing only takes you so far when your on a serious climb using all the engine has to muster. Those big climbs is really where a bottom end saves the day and pulls ya to the top.

kinda funny yami with their 06' goes bigger stroke, and HONDA goes smaller stroke; complete opposite direction heh!

i like the front end styling.. looks like if you take the light out it will be just like an aftermarket hood.

i like EVERYTHING about the 06. anybody wanna buy a 05 450r?
