i like it a lot. I think it looks a lot better look how the light is built in inside of lookin like it was just slapped in there with the corners of the plastic stickin out like previous models. Looks a lot smoother.

exactly, im glad I just waited till I got up this mourning. 300ex riders be prepared were probably gunna get new plastics next year, it is the only one that dosnt look like the 450r. Altho the new trx90 looks sick, the should have came up with its own design, along with the 400ex and 250ex. jmo

When the 450s first came out I hated them, but they grew on me. I don't think this is a big change in looks and I think it is ok. The other changes are awesome, optional electric start, 12:1 compression ratio, fcr carb, not to mention the new swinger and arms. It is gonna be bad.

I only got two questions, one, if you get the electric start option, does it have the kick as a backup or is it removed? Second, how fun is 12:1 gonna be to kick?

After looking at it a few times it doesnt look that bad, I think honda caught on people gutting the lights out so they made a full hood this time.

I might have to get one this winter.. Anyone looking for a banshee :p

yeah the old one when you took the light out there was a huge hole in the front end and it looked unfinished so you had to get an aftermarket hood. now you can just take off the light and its ready to go.

i love everyone defending their mighty YFZs, people really have no idea what going from 10.5:1 to 12:1 compression, FCR40mm, more agressive ports, more free flowing exhaust, bigger airbox, same bore and stroke as CRF450 dirtbike, forged slipper piston, and a closer gear ratio will do. not to mention you can get an HRC kit that now includes a head pipe for somewhere under $500, some people may realize it, but others think that all honda did was slap a different hood on it and call it good,, wrong.

Reason why I bought my 05' Predator was because the 450R didn't have electric start. At the time, reverse wasn't important but, now I use the chit out of it and can't go back to a quad without.

If anything, the 700R would be in my future. Use to the "big *******" quads
