Im trying to find out the name of a car. They are very small. Ive seen them at about every drag strip. They seem to usually have rx7 motors swapped into them with turbos. So they would be classifid as an "import". Ive heard but im not sure if its true that their a peurto rican car. They run times in the 8's and 9's usually. Any one know what these cars are?

Straight up guess I am gonna have to say Honda CRX. Very small and light odd looking car which can easily go 9's with a turboed RX-7 powerplant.

oh yea its a great japanese video. they look over the car then you see 3 guys following the ae86 on the highway. then it just takes off. and when i say take off i mean take off like a 600+ hp carolla would then all you hear is screaming in japanese

The car is extremly short wheel base, very round, looks old, like from the early 80's mabey. It seems to be a very common car for drag racing at the import days. Its not a peuget or a new car like that. It pissing me off so bad to not be able to find out what they are.

Alot times you will see old toyotas. Like a starlett. Im not sure if they came with rotary motors or not. But i know ive seen alot of them at the track. And they haul.

a yugo? i dont think anyone would use them for racing, you might be thinking of the datsun 510, and running a turbo'd version of a nissan motor. these are old little cars but very race to find one in good shape.

OK Ive got it narrowed down to 2 cars, what i saw is either a yugo or a starlet. Ive researched both and they race both of them. They weigh nothing. Now i need to find out what the best year is and such. Im and definatly getting one. Supposovly with mods they handle awsome and will go very very fast im talking 9 second runs with a new motor in there. So does any one know any thing about these cars? heres a 9 second one for those of you non belivers http://www.cardomain.com/ride/765619

I was thinking the same thing. I used to have one back in the day. That thing was a pimp ride with its manual crank sunroof, quartz mechanical clock, and 4 speed transmission.
