doesnt look liek they will work cause the front mount is on the lower part of the older bars looks like you will need something like powermads or something with just a single mounting tab

I saw a guy at Loretta's that had guards like yours on Flexx bars. He had the clamps that hook on to the bend of the bars taken off. Then he just fed a zip tie through where the clamps were and wrapped the zip tie around the elastomer on the bars. It looked like it worked pretty good for him.

I've been trying to figure the same thing out. I have the same handguards, the Acerbis rally pro's, and I don't see anyway they could work on the flexx bars...

I went with the power madd handguards....they worked really well. I have only seen yours mounted with a special clamp we made. In the end it wasn't worth the time put into it, but we did it.

Go on FasstCo's website. I believe they have a page devoted to how to mount those style of handguards on.

I couldn't really do it unless i have your bars and other stuff like brake leves and stuff cause i wouldn't have been able to do it without them... so i could bend them the right way(u know what i mean). its pretty simple...

All i did was cut 2 pieces of steel 4" long and around half to three quarter of an inch wide...

wire wheeled them clean and smooth.

figured out the bend(heated them and bent them)

wire wheeled them again to get rid of the heat marks

figured out the holes and drilled them in a drill press

mounted them to make sure I was correct

then you can paint them what ever color (or PC them) but i just clear coted them.

i would gladly do it for u but its kinda hard without that stuff to figure out how to bend the metal.

i could still do it but theirs no guarantees...?

if their for flexx bars then i could make the rough mounts and you could drill were you want and then paint them?

How about just a longer bolt through the flex bar mount. Use two locking nuts to hold the handguard out at the end of the bolt...or make a piece of aluminum to drop down to hold the handguards...that way your bracket could be just 1 straight piece, rather than 2 bends....every time you heat that metal you lose strength. I would use a piece of 1/4" aluminum for my bracket & long stainless steel bolts...this setup would look much cleaner and save weight too.....

the bolt thing woudnt work because it would cause the handguards to be bent up too far and wouldnt serve much of a purpose...at least for the way my bars are angled.

the brackets that come with the acerbis handguards work just fine with the flexx bars.
