gearing for my 05 trx

Can someone please lead me in the right direction I dont like how tall the gears are on my quad esc 1st it is borderline GAY .. with this being the only thing i actually hate about my quad id like to chage it ASAP what gears should I go with ? who makes the best and what are the best gears ...??

Just drop to a 13T front sprocket.Renthal sell them for about 10 bucks:macho

I still have the stock 20' tires on the back and ride alot of trails. I went to a 12 tooth and like it much better.

depends that you want it for..

for mx riding i read everywhere that stock gearing with 18" tires on the back are perfect

yea i mx'ed with stock gearing and 18's forever and just tried a 13t front and i love it for acceleration but might have to go back to the 14t because it takes away too much top-end for me for example-a track i race at has a 60 ft. double right out of a turn,i go through the turn in 2nd shifting to 3rd halfway through it not letting off until im in the air,and now i dont have enough 3rd to clear it or enough time to shift to 4th
.........but its worth a try,i love it everywhere else so far
