modified stock carb

I did a search & could not come up with any info. Does anyone know what the race shops are doing to the 450r stock carb to make it better? I have read where some shops do an upgrade etc... It seems even the all the proriders are running a mod stock carb?

FCR carb from a CRF450R - it won't make you faster in a drag race, but it does offer a big throttle response improvement -- This is what many of the pro riders run & is a pretty easy swap with the right information.

Yeah I know about the FCR. I have seen alot of them no longer using the fcr, but running a modified stock carb. Just wondering what they are modifing?
