pump gas???

Hello what do you think about using pump gas on this motor
JE piston 12:1 with sparks cam and a rev limiter??
here in Argentina the best pump gas is 98 octane

98 octane should be fine for 12:1. but not for 13:1. try 100 octane to see if it helps you, but 98 should be fine

Thanks, it s a big difference?? stock piston and cam vs JE 12:1 and sparks cam??
and in how many hours I have to replace the piston??

the 12:1 will deliver a much more punchy power delivery due to the high compression, and faster piston movement
its will almost be a night and day differemce from the stock piston

and when you have to replace it all depends on how hard you ride it, and how often you change you oils and keep your ride up to date

i always replace my pistons every winter, but when they come out, they looks= perfect (despite some carbon on top from burning gas) , as if i could throw it back in there and say its new

so just ride it, and worry about when to replace it when performance or compression are noticably lost
