guys, I dont mean to brag but I really think I may have got it. Anyone know what the longest documented jump on a 300 is?

I hate to go into a story without pics but I'm so excited I cant help it

I recently found a new spot and there is a 65 foot table top - and a perfect run up to it. However, its eroded like heck and theres no lip at all. The first time I hit it my friend was on back and I was joking around and ended up jumping like 20 feet. To make a long story short... I ended up hitting it going all out and cleared it. My poor ole' 300 is bouncing off the rev limiter in 4th then I click it in 5th and pin it, preaload so hard I harshly bottom out on the takeoff and if everthing goes perfect I clear it. I have only got it a couple times, but I'm really proud of myself causemy buddy is struggling to do it on a yz250f and my buddy on a 400ex wont touch it. I am not getting very high, maybe 3-4 feet off the top of the jump and about 8-9 feet overall... It's a speed jump.

Belevie me, I know this post is pretty cheesy without pics but I'm bustin arse to fix my quad and get some pics ;) Im contemplating hitting it with a bent to hell a arm

i jumped our 80 foot table a few times on my 300. not a very nice landing :eek2: i think i was in 4th or 5th wfo too and about the 6th time i did it i wrecked very hard :grr:

:eek2: DAYUMN 80 feet?!?! I thought I was doing good to get 60! That thing musta been modded out the arse. I am at top speed to barely make the landing on this one. Were you consistetly clearing it?

i cleared good a few times. actually they said i cleared the best the time i wrecked :p but i wouldn't reccomend anyone doing that much on a 300 unless it's really tricked out. even when i was clearing it i was bottoming out sooo hard. i'm surprised i didn't break the frame.

but it's pretty smooth on the 450

it was a pretty nice 300. it had aarms, front shocks, axle, a little motor work. too bad some focker stole it

keep it up man, and get some pics up :)

Harold Goodman used to race a 300EX and hes no small jumper.

So I imagine hes got the record nailed.

this guy does good

a thread on here i think it was

stock suspension

lol

and the landing you see is not the one he lands on

the landing he lands on is out of the picture, even bigger and more crazy

Haha thats funny, let me guess, its a giant triple??, theres no huge crazy landing where the picture doesn't show...he lands on that pile. I had video of it but I'm sure its lost now that my hard drive crashed a few months ago.

nah, the kid I ride with is a B class Gncc racer...

the reason its hard on a bike is theres a slight sweeping corner up to it and its hard to square upin time to hit it right.

Guys at my local track are clearing the 60 foot table with ease. I know a guy who can clear a 30 foot double on a prairie 650. I know 30 foot is nothing but its on a big arse utility.

one of the guys i used to race with could clear a 75ft table on his 300ex all it had was works shocks up front and a fmf pipe. He preloaded hard and hit it WFO but he'd do it everytime. crazy to watch. Plus we got a few kids in our sportquad class clearing it on blasters now and im about to start getting my cousin to start clearing it on his 300ex so he can keep up. i think 70-80 ft is pushing for a 300ex or blaster cuz 1 mistake......well ya know

haha justin remember when those guys were at splendora jumping the flat triple and everything else on a bone stock 300ex and then he wrecked hard and his leg was all caught up in the chain and sprocket...oh man that was a nasty sight. I was one of the first people to get to him.

i'll enlarge it for you

you can see he would jump way past that landing, and i saw other pictures on here from farther away

also, look how much closer the landing is to the camera from the takeoff

i don't think he was trying to do a HUMONGOUS transfer

I thought that at to at first.. but the rear end and nerfs are obviously on a 300ex.

It looks like the black sides with red front plastic like the 250ex/400ex. But upon closer inspection its Black front plastics with the upper tank cover and front hood in red.

your buddy should have no problem at all clearing a 60ft jump on a yzf250, 3rd gear should do it fairly easy.
