250R motor on 400ex frame

Ok well I was wondering if it was possable to place a 250r two stroke engine into a 400 ex frame. I got to looking at the frames and it looks like the bolt pattern is the same. But where to put the radiator is the real problem i think. Any way any feed back would be great. Thanks Hooser_400

if you go to eastcoastatv.com they have crf450's and yz426f's in 400ex frames , they removed the oil tank and put the radiators there. looks pretty simple . but on the other hand , those are 4 strokes and dont have that huge expansion chamber on the exhaust to deal with.you might wanna check it out though.

Yeah, they are almost the same frame except the 400s uses round tubing instead of square. I think you might have a little trouble with the air box/air boot mounting, and probably the radiator.
