guys, i just got home from my dealer...i'm realy good friends with one of the main guys up there, me and my dad have done a lot of business with him in the past years...he told me that the new 450r is going to come in 2 models, one has elexctric start, one is still kick, the kick start has 17' shocks, tripple rate springs, and a cr500 type rear linkage. It comes with a race exhaust, +1 a-arms, and MX tires from the facory...i didnt ask about the other model becuase i wasnt interested!!!!!!!!!!!!!

all i have to say is shaaaaaaaawing. I'll have a 450r in my stable before christmas sitting right next to my 250R!!!!!! I hope they made a lot of them, cause these puppies are gonna sell like hotcakes. So sorry yfz lovers...............you might have more valves, but our valves are bigger!!!!!

but the thing about bigger valves is, if they are too big...there is less vacume in the cylinder i beleive....my physics teacher last year explained the whole thing to me...
