air Filter?

Can i just clean my stock 450R air filter with soap and water and let it dry and then run it? or do should i use some oil on it....and would K&N oil work?

Yes you can clean it with soap and water. Wash it from the inside out so you don't just wedge the dirt in deeper.

Yes you need to oil it (after it dries). THe oil is what stops the dirt. The foam just holds the oil.

NO you can not use K&N filter oil on it. It's for a gause type system, it's too tacky for a foam filter.

Grab some PJ1 foam filter oil. Or, the Honda filter oil.

ok thanks im used to K&N's and havnt put my pipe and stuff on my R yet to need my K&N so i was just wonderin what oil to put on...

inside the airbox yes use soapy water not oil
