Airbox question

I have an 05 450r and ive jetted it to an HMF pipe, with the air box, but it seems it isnt getting enough pull when you punch the throttle , if i took my airbox off and added an outerwear would i need to rejet it to that? and would it help my acceleraton problem? Any help please

I was also wondering about the scaryfast powernow will help with the acceleration problem?

you will need to rejet after you remove the lid. Removing the lid will add alittle power don't know about throttle response.
