Put the new raptor rear shock to a workout this weekend. These jumps were soaked up like nothing even though the not all that large. I am very pleased with this mod and I recomend it to anyone with a 300ex!

I'm new to the whole jumping thing and in these pic's I could have sworn that I was like 5 feet in the air. I am far from it I don't know how you guys get like 10 feet of air thats crazy.

let me give you proally the best advice that i can possibly give....and i think others will agree with me...a good rule of thumb is DO NOT ride quads in shorts...your legs will get tore slam up...i dont care how hot it is i always wear pants when i ride my quad

AAAAhahahahahah

A Yamaha shock on a Honda. We warrior guys have been using the 2001 raptor rear for our rears for years now. Now anyone that hasn't done it for there warrior is going to have to contend with the damn 300ex kids. Holly hell! I'll tell you what, we will let you use the 2002-2006 rear shocks for your Ex's, lmao.

trevor the key to jumpin is how you use your throttle clutch. brake, and weight

There isn't realy any place close to where I live to practice my jumping. These pics were taken up by my cottage which is an hour and a half away. Where I live there is no sand it is all rock not the best terrain for jumping.

it wont fit with the piggyback rezzy, and only the 01 raptors have remote... so only the 01's will work.

Aye.. a 65ft table top isn't too crazy. It's about the speed coming off of the jump. Hitting it at 50mph on a 300ex or 450r is gonna jump almost the same distance. The distance required to get to that 50mph is the difference. Also the landing. ;) But a good suspension, will take a 65ft table top pretty smooth.

Most of your momentum is in the forward direction, so it's actually a softer landing than a 20ft jump that takes you 10ft high where most of your momentum is downward on the landing.

It sounds crazy.. but the longer the jump the softer the landing in my experience. ;)

tabletops are by far the best begginer jumps you can land almost anywhere on a tabletop and not get hurt. And most tabletops have a long landing area and not a steep landing area. Thats what i starting learning on

you gotta start somewhere right? i bet even John Guetter or the other riders from HBOMB or Akraix started out getting similiar air that you did. it is funny how we all could've sworn we were gettin more air than we really do! everyone does that!:D just keep practicing, and as mentioned before try jumping a table top!
