totally screwed or not?

ok i have a power valve 330. yesterday my bike siezed up, and when i took the cylinder off and looked in it, there was a piece of metal that had come apart right inside the hole for the power valve.(the hole in the cylinder right behind the power valve) what would happen if i ran this cylinder without the piece that goes inside the slot behind the power valve,, i know this is a retarded question, but am i just screwed or what??? thanks guys

i think its the flap thats inside the slot on the cylinder,,, can this be fixed or could the power valve hole be blocked off??? any help would be greatly appreciated

who built the cylender? yur best bet would be to call them up and ask for help. some places offer rebuild kits for the PV, some places may offer to fix it for free if it looks like it was caused by some sort of defect.
