hey i got a 03 300ex and i am wondering how to adjust the valves to make it go faster does ne1 know how to do that

You dont adjust the valves to go faster; only to bring worn parts back to spec. You can do some mods for more power like pipe, filter, and rejetting the carb.

To answer your ? The rocker cover caps are removed to expose the springs. The locknut is loosened and feeler gauge used to set lash back to stock spec. This adjusts the clearance between your coker arms and valve stem. If your topend has been ticking lately this may well fix it.
