I have a 05 Z400 with filter, full exhaust, front sprocket, and jets. I was wondering if it would be beneficial to run cam2 (110 octane). Would it make the bike any faster or would it not be worth it? Thanks

the extra octane is not needed, and little if any performance gain would be felt.

If you put a High comp piston and start modifying it more (cams, Port and Polish) that is when you should worry about Cam2 gas. Save the $4 a gallon and build your motor later. You may (do not quote me) have problems and again have to rejet it. Not that it would be a problem but just a hassle for no result.
