The 300ex and 250X

How are they both geared, just got to wondering.

300ex

Here is the shift patern for a 300ex : 1 N 2 3 4 5 ¸
For the reverse, you have to hold a button, pull the clutch, do a strange contorsion and then pull a lever...

thay are basically the same quad. the 300 has a bigger piston and the 250x has a hotter cam. the 250x also has a kickstart.

The 250X and 300EX use the same size 74mm piston. The differance is the 300EX has a longer stroke which adds a few more cc's. The 250X has a higher compression piston. Camshafts are the same, gears and shift patterns are the same. The 250X has a compression release valve.

yea if you were lookin into buying one of these and have a little bit of motor experiance get the 250x it is a better all around quad in my view less mods give it alot more power than a 300. more low end balls. Id prefer the 250 over the 300 anyday. To bad i bought the 300 but ohh well is getin a boot out the door soon lol :D

if honda doesnt come ou with a new quad they should do something with the 300ex and 400ex. They should make limited editions.Add profance parts(pipes, high comp pistons, graphics, ect...) What u think its my new idea
