I'm doing this bike for my older brother Robbie, He purchased the bike off ebay, its a 2003 sportser 1200, it has a 180 rear tire kit on it allready, custom wheels and such. I've been tweaking the motor some and doing odds and ends. We bought a new tank for it, the older one had a crack and I painted it copper, I am doing ghost flames on it this winter

Heres before I painted and did the mods such as the tire kit etc.

Heres the bike as of now, we went with a west coast choppers rear fender to go with the 180 tire kit and such. I cant wait to work the motor up

Bery nice bikes, I've been looking at a couple of cheaper bikes. Right now I might get a "rice rocket" but really want a cruiser. I'd love to have either of those bikes.

Why are you waiting to do the ghost flames? It looks awsome, that is a sick color.

He wanted to ride really bad, so he said we'll just do it during the winter.

I got a pearlesnt(sp) house of kolor silver powder, you mix it with base maker and with my case I will be using my new air brush I bought to do the out line of the flames.

quick question..

Should I go with a trans blue with this, or anyone else have some ideas.. It wont look anything like this by the end of this winter thats for sure..

I am doing the frame and a all the misc parts I painted to match what ever color I choose for the base, then I'm going to probaly do some sort of graphics, posibly layerd flames each layer a differnt color. something of the sort..

A silver base coat, and do the layered flames in some darker or lighter silvers, mabey black, then candy blue over all of it. I think that would be sick.
