oil question

What brand an weight oil should I be running in my 99 400ex. It has a full white brothers exhaust if that makes any difference. An were would I find the oil filter on it.

I just use honda gn4 4 stroke oil 20w 50 or 10w 40....the oil filter is on the right side of the engine (right side sitting on quad) its right below the headpipe, its a circle shaped and has 2 8mm bolts.

i run the honda gn4 also. Be careful with those oil filter cover bolts, i broke one on my first oil change, and ive heard of many other people doing it too. Be careful with the drain bolts also...they break

cool now I know were the filter is. An it takes what 2-3 quarts

and its very important you make sure to not put the oil filter in backwards
