I broke my stock swing arm!!!!!!!
Anyone else ever do that????????/
anyway, I don't have a manual yet, it looks like I better get one soon. any suggestions for breaking loose the lock nut and what torque do I tighten it to. My owner's manual does't get into those specs. anything I should look out for: bearing wear or sloppy bushings????
any advise will be glady accepted
Thanks

yeah, mine cracked around the pivot bolt and around the left side behind the chain slide. My skidplate was the only thing keeping enough tension on it so that my chain would stay on so I could make it out of the woods. I found a used stocker at a local shop for $100 bucks, I see them on ebay anywhere from $95 up to $150. Unless it comes off a fairly new quad I would go ahead and put in new pivot bearings and maybe a new pivot bolt depending on what yours looks like when you get it out. That nut is usually no problem to break loose. Not sure on the torque when tightening it back down.
