DrasticSports is need of some radical graphics so we decided to challenge the talented PhotoShoppers we have seen on ATVRiders.

Prizes:
The winner will receive $50 Cash, a Video, and a 528cc Shirt.

Details:
We have a patriotic theme in mind; definitely RED, WHITE and BLUE.

The graphics will be used for a Splash Page, header for the home page, and maybe even a TShirt, etc.

Sorry, I don't have the time to do graphics anymore, but here is something I put together in a few minutes.

I think that would prob work best, it is easy to shrink down and not lose any resolution versus trying to enlarge it.

Of course you won't be able to post to the thread at that kind of resolution, so just throw a resized one in here pls.

Again, I am not an expert here, any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I was hoping this thread would catch on, these graphics are GREAT. I think there will have to be multiple winners!

I might just put in some php code that randomly chooses the splash page from a set of files.

It sticks out a little to much. It distracts from the rest of the graphic that you did.

Maybe use gold like the "God Bless America"? You have the Patriotic theme NAILED!!! Tthe problem is that DrasticSports takes away from the rest of your work.

Everyone on ATVRiders.com should see these graphics...

So far we have excellent splash and slide show pages to add to the site and a presentation that I am currently working on.

DrasticSports is also in need of graphic(s) for it's home page. Right now all it says is Drastic Sports and uses come CSS to dress it up (lame).

We are also looking for a logo to put on our wallpapers. http://www.akraix.com/_2005/media/index.php has done an excellent job on theirs (envious).

Winners will be announced Sep 30th. I am also trying to get a header graffic for the home page. Prob 800x200 that can fade into a white background.

Dude, those are nice. I have been struggling with how to create a header pic for my home page. The site uses a white background and was looking for a way to blend that stuff in.

I also have some killer pics that I would like to put into header design so that the home page is not the same every time.

The submissions so far have been excellent. The photoshop gurus on this site have created AWESOME splash pages and I have put them up on the site.

I am still looking for a sweet header graphic for the home page and logo for wallpapers.

The header graphic should prob be 1000x200.

I wrote some php code that will randomly load pics, like the random splash pages that come up. I can do that with the header graphics as well.

That is SLICK, may I request just a couple of modifications?

Remove the border, it distracts from the way cool graphic. The center part of the eagle is a little washed out.

It is coming, be patient. I have downloaded them and in the process of publishing it on the DrasticSports.com site.

The logo should work especially well with the wallpapers. That is the hardest piece since it has to blend in with all kinds of stop action photography. Very Impressive!!!

These would be for wallpapers, you wont really beable to use these now because you need a psd file to get the white out of em and look nice on any background, a transparent gif file just wont cut it...

I can use a psd file, I have photo shop elements and CS2. I mostly use these to clean up photos. Can I get a psd file that has the transparent background so that I can just create another layer and put these on top of the photo?

Dude, I got to have that. I like the grunge look of it. I have also discovered that it is no simple task to create a logo that looks good on stop action photos. I went through a lot of logos that I thought would look good in a photo just to find out they SUCKED when I put them in the picture.

Have you seen my store. It does EVERYTHING. That and you can only see about 1/3 of what it actually does, the rest are secure admin pages and they let you do allllllllllll kinds of stuff. Lots of customer, inventory, email, and promotional capabilities...

That is cool. It almost looks like one of the 1950s H-Bomb pictures. You know what would be cool. Taking an old H-Bomb explosion pic and show an ATV outrunning the explosion...

The ATV H-Bomb guys would prob get a kick out of that as well... Just an idea...
