i have a couple of questions for all the 250R riders out there. first off, i have an 86 250R is it supose to have a radiator resevour? mine doesnt have one and it is running fine and doesn not overheat. do i need to get one?since it doesnt have a resevour how full should i fill the radiator? and another thing does anyone know where i can get a-arm bushings? the last thing is my right front disk for the disk brakes seemed to be warped. doi have to get a new one or is there someone that can fix it?

They came stock with radiator rezzies but I took mine off cause the top keept popin off. Being I ride most of the time in the dunes and I don't have an over heating problem I think it is okay to run without one. Just check your radiator leval regularly. I run my overflow tube over my exaust so I can tell if the bike starts to get hot, it will steam a little. I fill my radiator all the way to the top. You can get arm bushings from your local Honda shop. If your front disc is warped you may have to replace both, Unless the other is not very warn. Otherwise one will lock up and you will have uneven breakng preasure.

No you dont need to run a overflow bottle but I do. My R did not have one on it when I got it. I got sick and tired of wondering about the water in the bike because it spit out the water alot. Remember if you dont have a overflow bottle once your bike heats up and spits the water out its gone and I didn't want to worry about my bike not haveing water. Just my $.02 :cool:
