Does anyone know any info a fuel called E85. I saw it at a station here in town and it was 2.79 a gallon where regular is 3.29. I thinks its that ethanol blend stuff. I pulled over by the pump and it said " for flexible fuel vehicles only" I have no clue what that even meant so I didnt buy any. Ive got an F150 with a Triton V8 and wasnt sure If it would do any damage.

its 85 percent ethanol mixed with gas, i wouldnt personaly recomend it for any vehical unless its been modified to run on it, if i were you i would look into e33 most cars will run on with no problem and even get better mileage with a lower cost per gallon, i just cant figure out where they sell that dang stuff around here

Thats totally not true. We have been running it in all of our (4) cars for 3 months and no problem. The thing that can go wrong is the injector setup. What happens is that when you shut the car off, gas sits in the injectors. The ethanol in the (E85, 85% ethanol ) drys out the pendalum ticker in the injector, casung it to lock up which leads to mis-firing of a cylinder. If you tap on the injector with a screw driver it usally fix's the problem. We just fill our cars up and all split a bottle of Injector cleaner in our tanks. We have been paying $1.79 a gallon for 3 months, now :D

I wish I had a dealer close to me. I'd buy a flex fuel car just so I could run it.
