400ex misses and sputters @ top end

Starts, idles fine, its ran fine all year. Thursday riding it just started to pop and miss at top end or WFO.

Cleaned filter, changed oil and plug. Still does it, changed CDI from WB to BG, still does it.

Mods: WB pipe, no lid, K&N

Like said, its run fine all year up until this last ride.

Any help would be great

try checking the bowl on your carb for dirt and debris, if that's not it try taking your carb apart and cleaning it out good. That's a starting point at least for you...

Check your main jet. It could be rattling around in the float bowl. Happened to me once before after I rejetted. The quad will run perfect up until 3/4 to full throttle and then it starts to crap out.

ya im having the same problem it get real bad when climbing compition hills :eek: i was gonna adjust mine tomorrow
