My brother owes me money, he has an ebay account I found a dyno port 2 into one system and a set of toomey t-5s. Which would be the better pipe, I herd a dyno port at rausch and I drooled the entire time the guy was riding lol..

the dyno port

The toomeys will give you a big hit in the powerband and lots of top end power, they also sound awesome.

The dyno port gives you a smooth power band with good power all around. Sounds awesome too!

The choice is up to you, both great pipes!

Yeah the only thing I really dont like about my fmf's is they dont have that banshee sound, someone told me to try another fmf silencer, the overall power from my fmfs are great but as everyone knows they were so crappy looking when I first got my banshee, the rust pitted the nickle etc :(

nevermind go for the rocket pipes lol

The dyno ports he said have a dent. You never want a dent in a 2 stroke pipe.

I couldnt run rockets, I'd have them things dented in no time, I ride mx and xc so I'm allways moving etc.

The Paul Turner Fat Boy 2's are the best for MX and XC!

I ran FMF fatty's on my banshee when I raced mx, I thought they were pretty good,:ermm:

Toomey's have a crappy powerband for mx and xc, but great for like drag racing

I cut my silencers with my FMF fatty's, I cut them half way, It gives more power and when your racing you don't have to worry about someone smashing in the back of you and messing up your pipes! It changed the sound too, I raced motocross with a banshee for a couple of years, I know alot of different tricks!

i would get the dyno port, smooth power is easier to ride, and nothing sounds better than a dyno port 'shee

I think dyno port is pretty cool, espiecially since a cr80 with a hot dynoport pipe fell on me,and its now branded in my leg lmfao.

I have never ridden dynoports, and I hear they dont help HP whatsoever, like 1hp at the most gain but it smooths it out and shift it down lower.

I really dont think dynoports sound all that cool :ermm: To me they just sound plugged up - as if the shee has a stuffy nose :D

If I were you, I'd keep the fattys and get fmf powercore 2 silencers. FMF's have great power and sound awesome with pc2 silencers. They have better low end than stockers and revs better too, so its a sacrifice but a good all around package.

Everyone says to avoid t-5's unless you are in the dunes... you gotta remember it's a 2 stroke and its not meant to pull like a thumper down low and never will. To me, it just makes sure you know you are on a 2 stroke - Hits like a heavyweight boxer, sounds like pissed off bumblebees, and makes good use of the clutch lever! As long as you are a skilled clutchman and good with the shifter too - youll love t-5's cause theyll always be in the power range... and what a sweet range it is!

mxjunkie, isnt there a shorty-type FMF silencer for the banshee. i think ive seen em before, that would surely give it a deeper sound, and maybe even more power

my t5's did just fine in woods and mx...a banshee will never have low rpm power. the dynos sound great, never ridden one so i cannot speak from experience on the power or ride. but i do know when my banshee hit mid with the t5's it was hold on for your life time :p :p

See if you can find a set of Moto-fast pipes. GNCCer's Kim Khunle and Curtis Crump used to run them on their Banshees and it seemed like an awesome set-up. Unbelievable sound too!

If you ride MX or XC I htink it would be a better choice to have a low end pipe.
If you buy the dynoport you ewill have it more than the tomeys and when you go to open places you put the FMF that maybe has more top end (I think that FMF are somewhere in between the two, itīs an all around pipe unless is the SST or the gnarly FMF)
thats , what I would do

If you want to do some motor work down the road, go for the toomey's. But if your running fmf's already, I don't think its worth buying another set of pipes. For everything other then mx, or xc shearer's and cpi's are the best peak hp in-frame pipes.

i like Bills pipes. One of the best shee pipes out there. Great power all around, unbeatable low end with a hard hit in the midrange and pulls all the way through the powerband. Great pipes, we have had 2 banshees, both with bills pipes.
