Standard non-atv MX grips are made for bikes with twist throttles. They therefore have a larger flange on the inside of them than an atv grip. You can use standard MX grips, but you will have to cut the flange on the throttle side because the big flange interferes with the operation of the thumb throttle ;)
In case that was confusing, the "flange" I speak of is the part of the grip that flares out, the circular portion that your thumb and index fingers are closest to.

the best thing that you can do is just buy atv grips ( i personally like one of renthals grip the best) and buy they gel dounuts that act like that "flange"..its really comfortable..i have them. cheap too.

If you want grips with flanges, you have two options: Buy two sets of twist throttle grips and only use the lefts OR get Oury MX ATV grips. They're the only ones I've found with a full flange. You'll have to make a small cut across the bottom of the flange to clear the thumb throttle.
