The Snap-on 12v works nice. Light too.

I've got two Milwaukee impacts. A 14.4 and 18 volt. The 14.4 is 3/8 drive, and the 18 is 1/2 drive. Some of the best money I ever spent!!!

Ya I forgot about the Milwaukee, my buddy has the 14.4 3/8 and its awesome too. It came with 2 battery's also. I think it was the same price as the Snap-On 12v 3/8 with 1 battery.

I have the 3/8 Snap-On cordless. Its rated at 12v, but we all run 14.4 and 18v versavolt batteries on them. No one in the shop has had a problem. Matco now has a smaller 3/8 drive 14.4 impact(100ftlb) that I would reccomend for your quad tool box. plenty of power for removing any thing torqued to manufactures spec on a ATV. $239.00, catalog #MPTL144IW and clickity click (http://www.matcotools.com/Catalog/toolcatalog.jsp?cattype=T&cat=2348&page=3&#50771)

I have a 18 volt snap-on and it works great with big bolts and lug nuts. You have to be careful cause it will snap off bolts pretty easy. For the smaller stuff I have a 14.4 Dewault. It's a lot lighter and works really well.

My buddy dumped his snapon for a dewalt(he works in a bodyshop) he used the snap-on for several years and the truck still gave him good money for it.
