Is there a color close to chrome

Or can you do nickel like the burgard a-arms. I been thinking of doing my 450r's frame in nickel but now its still under warrenty. so it wont happen soon. I really want it chromed but thats way too much money to put into a frame i'll kill the first month or so riding it.

Also curious if you know of a frame saver for the 450r yet, both sides of mine are wore down to bare metal from my boots.

there is a chrome pc, it will appear more like a bright silver once cleared and i will only shoot chrome if its cleared. bonded or not, teh failure rate is to high to not clear it.

i have not seen frame gaurds on the market yet for the R. this is the biggest problem with the newer style quads. the main frame tube runs in almost exactly the same line as a riders leg. the boots tear them to shreds. the right side is somewhat protected by the kickstarter.

i get emails weekely from all over the country with questions regarding this issue. it doesnt matter where you go, it will eventually wear thru in those areas.

you can use heavy mil clear vynil to make gaurds, skate board tape etc. my brother even bought the riding pants that cover his boots and his wore thru in 2 weekends of riding but it was stock paint also.

its still a 2 step process, but i cant see charging more for it because if clear is not added i would end up redoing it or getting yelled at ..lol it just kind of comes with that color.

Now I have to get a manual so when my warrenty is up I can pull it apart to get gussetted and pc'd.
