got my 310 kit back from la sleeve last week for a bore job and piston.after realizing i needed dowel pins becasue the old ones welded themselves to the old jug i finally got the new ones and put it all together late yesterday after noon.im running a 86 short rod bottom end(for now) and an la sleeve 310 cylinder and head.the freind i bought the cylinder from used it for mx and gave me a 38mm makuni tmx carb and boyseen rad valve but la sleeve recommend that since ill be using this set up for xc that i use my old 36mm kehein carb with a 175 main and needle on the 4th clip and my v force reed cage.ill be out side in a little while brakin it in.hopefully this thing will RIP, i know it did when my freind owned it .
anyone have any thoughts on a differnt combo as far as carb, jetting and reed cage?just curious
