Got the nerve to cut my fenders...What do you think?

Well, I've been going back and forth trying to decide if I wanted to cut my fenders or not, so I went a head and did it. I figure worse case scenario I buy a new front fender for $55 or so. I really like them so far, but I haven't really had a chance to ride with them much. I do like the looks better too...

Looks good. I trimmed my fenders the same day I bought mine, its a must. How do you like those AC pro-nerf's, i'm thinking about getting a set. I like the heel kick plate, it looks sweet.:devil

400ex73 - I definitely like the Pro-Pegs. I have to get the heel kick plate bolted up though, if you hit jumps, it bends right down. Just haven't gotten around to doing the drilling...

Kicker & Roostin - I do need some new handle bars, I think I'm going to order some Renthal ATV Race bends on Monday. I'm going to check and see if I can get them from the QuadShop, if not, I'll just order them from RockyMountainATV.

I'll be sure to post a pic when I get done :) I'm sure it will look much improved...

Cut the bottom of the front fenders off like this,

sand the bottoms round. it will look alot better and to make them look like they were never cut,go around the edges with a lighter or a torch,but don't hold it there too long or it will melt the plastic.

Your fenders look cool man but I hate how everyone has those "wings" on the front of their cut fenders. Why dont you sand them things to a rounded edge??

Actually when I was trying to decide what I liked and was looking at everyones cut, I like the wings the most :)

I may have to round off the back part like MXStar826 said though...

I was sweatin frogburner.....very nervous. The first side came out just like I wanted it to....I screwed up the second side and played match up for another hour

I get most of my stickers at Gadzooks in our shopping mall.

all yalls fenders look good, i think we need to make a thread of everybodys pics of bikes wiht cut fenders and put them in hte FAQ .
