help my 4x4 is not working right

i have a 1998 kodiak and when u hit the gas hit goes untill u move the throttle to a certon spot and then bogs my friend thinks it is the flot in the carb but aslo when i pull the choke out i can give it more gas with out boging any one know whats going on help me fix it. thanks

it depends where you are getting the bog. Sounds like a jetting problem to me. You have three jets so it really depends what throttle postition is bogging... somebody want to make sure I know what i am talking about :rolleyes: .. also just check the air filter.

take the carb off and clean it. there is a chance a piece of debris is stuck in there.

it bogs at different point not only one it runs good only when it wants too but then it will blog at the mid then some times at the end of throttle and somtimes in the begining dont know what is wrong with it

sounds like a jetting problem

clean the carb and airfilter and make sure your choke is not accidentally coming on and maybe sticking
