how important is that spring considering i just lost it.

considering you have to wrap the spring around the top of the thumb throttle assembly, then hook it to the metal piece, then put a nut over it, then bend the two metal pieces of the nut, the spring is pretty important. hit your throttle a few times without the spring, i betcha it wont come back to ya like it usually does.

usually the stock carb return spring is strong enough to return the throttle. i had one break on 300ex and i have no idea how long it was like that:p

thanks for all the info i started the quad up and checked out the throttle...i cant notice a difference just reving it up well see how it is riding it.

You'll be fine without it....i dont think I know of anyone running with the spring in there :p
