New Quad?

Allright, i don't know how long i've tossed this idea around. I've had my 300ex for 2 years in December, and i just plain am all over it (i'm a descent sized guy, probably helps). But seriously, its not fast or anything anymore. I can take the 90 degree dirt road corner by my house in 5th gear, maybe 45 or so, no problems or issues. I just feel like i'm way past it. I think i want something bigger...

I have about 1400 saved up as of now (lifeguarding, grumbles), and will keep on saving. I don't really want a 400ex, though they're cheap, but everyone here (and i mean everyone) has one. I was looking into a Banshee or KFX/Z/DVX 400, but i dunno. I ride a lot of open roads, trails, and occasionally on the track. So, Banshee might not be a great choice, cept the roads. I think i can get a good thousand more by spring, so i'll see. Any suggestions?

If your going to ride trails Id say the Z400 would be your best bet.
That reverse would have came in handy a few times when I had the old 400

ive had my 300ex since nov. of 2000. im gonna be gettn a new quad to soon, probably a z400. but first i wanna see how much the 450 is gonna be cause im probably gonna be racing next year(if gas doesnt go up much more) but a kfx and a z are almost exactly the same, except the plastics. so if your deciding one one of those two i would go with the z cause ive seen them go for alot cheaper.

z/kfx 400 will be best for you, they go for mega cheap nowadays, and they are fast, fun, and have tooooooonnnnsss of upgrade potential

i wouldnt waste your time on the old outdated aircooled 400ex, its just a waste, and not much of a step up from a 300ex

and the raptor is to big and clunky to have fun on

I was thinking the banshee since they are so cheap, and you can find any parts for them, cheap as well. A DVX would be sweet, i like the looks of them, but a KFX or Z would be great. I never thought about a raptor... Could be a good idea, but they are really top heavy, and i just don't want to spend a whole crap load. I'm thinking around 2500 or so, no more than 3000, any suggestions? I've seen an 03 Z400 for 2300 one time, banshee's for like 1500, and raptors no less than about 3400.
