shorten vavle guides?

the cam i want to get(web) says u need to have shroten vavle guides. what are they? and do u actaully need them or is it just bull for some more money?

bumb come on im orderin parts tommorow and i want to know if i have to buy it.

it's because the camshaft has so much lift the valve spring retainers will end up bashing into the end of the vavle guides/seals (a VERY bad thing)...

You need a reputable machine shop, or a very mechanically inclined friend that know's what they are doing to install the valve guides for you (IE not a bolt on!)..
