450r Shocks on 400ex

I was wondering if stock 450r shocks will work on a 400ex frame? My friend has a 450r and I love his shocks, I almost cried when I had to get back on my 400 it just made it feel outdated. Plus they look like they have a bit more adjustment on them. Not much knowledge on shocks but I'll learn alot on this forum. I got time I'm only 15. Thanks in advance for the input!!

yes, it will be fine with a little grinding..
