any tips you have in xc racing for a newbie racer what products tires tips on what to train for anything would help thanks

I hate it when people just tell someone to search but in this case I think you will find some interesting stuff.

Go to the bottom of the page, here in the racing section, and try searching for GNCC tips or GNCC tire, etc.

lots of good stuff already in there.

#1 dont blow doe on usless junk

must haves are, skids (belly and swingarm), good tires, preferably 6 ply 20 inch rears.. and a kill cord/tether

step 2, if u have the extra doe get your self foot peg ext.'s and have them welded on. or if u prefer, use nerfs.

step#3 If u have MORE cash, get yourself some good suspension thats set up right , frt. and rear!!!!

If u can get fast enough with those mods and fell like your maxing it out and could use more umph!! then u move onto
step#4 Race exhaust!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BRRRRRaaaapppPPPPP.
And depending on what bike your running maybe a lil engine work, porting or a cam, maybe a big bore!!
