some has to know how to get the steel insert out of the end of the stock handle bars not the screw i have it out i want to know so that i can put on my set of cycra probends

I dont recall how the factory bar ends are lodged in. It has to be the same concept as the probends though. Did you try taping the end of the screw lightly without the black cap at the end? I think its the same design where the screw pulls the two pieces tight inside the bar.

Will the bolt from the Cycra hand guard fit the stock insert? If so just use the stock one. If not, I'm not much help.. lol. ;)

i was able to leave my inserts in. i just used longer bolts with thee same thread as the insert check and see if you have anyother bolts layin around. i just happened to have some stainless bolts from a from a freezer door that i held on to and works perfect cause they had the tapered head. rick
