I'm a beginner at guitar and i need some songs that are fairly easy to play. Does anyone know of any?

about 3 of the easiest songs to play.

if you play "easy" songs youll never get better.. listen to the radio, find a song you like that you would like to learn, then go BUY the cd and play it over and over and over and over and over again, and eventually youll pick it up.. keep practicing..

or better yet, go get some joe satriani or ynvey malmsteen (sp?) and learn to play that.. i was playing for 6 months and could *almost* pull off silver surfer from satriani.. its all about how much you push yourself.

Yeah, don't make the mistake of playing all the easy songs you can.

Also, don't make it a habit of playing JUST the intro. Try to play the whole song, and memorize all of it.

I agree. Fun and pretty easy.

Counting Crows stuff is pretty fun to play too.

I agree and disagree. You don't want to start off with something so hard that it'll make your confidence go way down....but you don't want to play easy stuff all the time. I like to play easy stuff, then go up 1 level. Once I get my confidence level up a little bit, I move on to harder stuff.

I'm not trying to be slash here guys...it doesnt matter to me if i get better or not. I got the guitar for free and i just try to play it when i get bored at home. Thanks for the tips but i just want easy songs. Thanks.
